The rooms
Four ateliers, each named after a legend.
Our four rooms are called ateliers because they are places of imagination and exploration. Each is named after an inspirational figure, and reflects our belief that we can learn from the legends who have gone before us.
Gandhi
6 weeks to 15 monthsOur Gandhi Atelier stimulates the children's mind, body and senses through relaxation activities, movement and massage, reading and story time. We also encourage muscle strengthening and brain development through sensory and messy play. Our educators build meaningful relationships with children to support their wellbeing and development.
“Learn as if you were to live forever.”Gandhi
Goolagong
15 months to 30 monthsOur Goolagong Atelier inspires children to be active through play and sports, healthy through planned and spontaneous learning experiences, and in tune with the community through centre projects and excursions. It is a very active room, designed for the energy a toddler brings at their own stage of development.
Garzoni
24 months to 3 yearsOur Garzoni Atelier inspires children to be creative through many types of art and craft experiences, techniques and resources. Our educators provide natural provocations and bring in technology to extend and challenge what a child is already interested in.
Galileo
4 years to 5 yearsOur Galileo Atelier inspires children to challenge their ideas of the natural world and to build on their strengths and knowledge. Our educators work alongside children to give them the learning tools and guidance they need to adapt to new challenges, in a room that is calm, positive and full of exciting learning adventures.
We believe children learn through play, which is why our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and the Reggio Emilia educational program.
The centre
Privately owned, and small enough that we know every child.
We are a privately owned, community child care centre. Our caring and qualified staff are inspired to encourage your child to grow and to start out on a lifetime of learning.
The centre is fully airconditioned, and meals and healthy snacks are provided through the day. Entry is by keylock to authorised people only.
We pride ourselves on following the children's interest to maximise their learning. Our educators are tuned in to what children can do and make opportunities to extend it. We take time each day to reflect on what the children have learned, and families are part of that — there are plenty of ways to be involved.

What a parent said
“The teachers take really good care of my son. I was worried leaving him as a first time mum, but Little Legends update me daily and send photos. They even send us a weekly newsletter. I love that, because I can send it to my husband when he is away.”Kelly Smith — A parent, in her own words.
